Insight School of California - North Bay and California Alliance for Online Learning (CAOL) unite expertise in online learning with cutting edge technology to provide a quality educational option for California families.

California Alliance for Online Learning (CAOL), a nonprofit public benefit, California corporation, fully embraces the creation of options for public school students. CAOL believes that every student deserves an opportunity to excel and to reach their potential. The mission of CAOL is to bring high school age students back into the public school system and help them to reach their individual potential.

Windsor Unified School District is comprised of seven schools, four of which are California distinguished schools, and has 5,200 students and 250 teachers and staff. Windsor High School has been named one of California’s top ten most promising high schools by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. With a focus on school-to-careers, the District strives to determine what skills are necessary for our students to master to be effective as adults. To this end, the District aggressively pursues continuous improvement in the structure of curriculum to reflect not only high academic standards but also relevance to real-world applications.

Insight Schools builds and operates statewide, full-time, diploma-granting, online public high schools in partnership with local school districts and community organizations, such as CAOL, a leading non-profit community development organization. Insight Schools' focus is to educate high-school-age youth who, for a variety of reasons, need an alternative to the traditional public high school experience. The Insight team consists of experienced educators and innovators who have run some of the largest online high school programs in the nation.

The CAOL and Insight teams share a passion for what a full-time, diploma-granting online high school can do for students for whom traditional high school is not a good fit. Insight School of California - North Bay draws from these shared beliefs and expertise to offer the best in high school online learning to students throughout Sonoma and surrounding counties.
